Analytics team at Ola is responsible for providing data-driven insights to diverse set of product teams such marketing, customer app and engagement, partner (driver) app and engagement,booking experience etc. The team members understand requirements of different stake-holders, analyze problems using data-driven methodologies and translates them into meaningful insights and solutions. The team utilizes wide range of cutting-edge technologies (Big Data and BI tools) for data extraction, transformation and analyses.

About Role:

The role involves of analyzing and interpreting the data. The role demands of involving lots of techniques and methods of data analysis.

KRAs:

• Developing forecasting models.
• Create various algorithms for optimizing demand & supply data
• Data analysis and solution building based on insights capture from data
• Responsible for giving insights to management and help in strategic planning
• Create various analysis for error handling in existing data products

Skills required:

• Strong analytic and problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of data mining techniques like time series forecasting, regression, classification and clustering techniques
• Outstanding understanding of statistics and probabilistic methods
• Experience of analytic environments and tools, for both structured and unstructured data
• Knowledge of statistical tools like R, SAS along with MySQL and Matlab

Experience: Minimum 2-6 yrs of Experience in Business Analytics.
