Eligibility Criteria For Software Development Engineer Job Opening at Thomson Reuters

Education: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in relevant IT

Job Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Experience: Freshers / Experienced  (0- 2 years)

Skills: .NET technologies,C#, VB.Net, SQL, WEBAPI, WCF

Salary: Upto ₹9 LPA (Expected)

Batch: 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 gards

Responsibilities of Software Development Engineer

  •  Design, implement, test, and maintain our software products.
  •  Provide support to customers.
  •  Work closely with product management and other engineering teams.
  •  Maintain high coding standards, including commenting, proper formatting, unit/integration testing, and code reviews.
  •  Contribute to team goals by participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
  •  Learn new technologies and tools as needed.

Skills Preferred for Software Development Engineer Job Opening at Thomson Reuters:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but not required.
  • .Strong knowledge of .NET technologies.
  • Hands on knowledge of C#, VB.Net, SQL, WEBAPI, WCF
  • Strong knowledge of at least one general purpose scripting language (such as Python, Ruby, PHP, Perl, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  •  Experience working with some form of NoSQL database technology such as MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis, etc.
  •  Knowledge of software development processes & tools, such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  •  Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment techniques and tooling.
  •  Good communication skills.
  •  Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
