Summary Of Quality Engineer Job Opening at Accenture:

  • You will enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.
  • You will perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite.
  • Additionally, you will create automation strategy, automated scripts, and support data and environment configuration.
  • Your role will involve participating in code reviews, monitoring, and reporting defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to build knowledge and support the team.
  • Participate in Problem Solving discussions.
  • Create automation strategy and develop automated scripts.
  • Support data and environment configuration.
  • Perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
  • Monitor and report defects to support continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality across the application lifecycle.

 Must To Have Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of API testing and security testing.
  • Familiarity with regression testing techniques.

 Good To Have Skills:

  • Experience with test management tools.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
  • This position is based at our Pune office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.

Minimum Requirements and Key Competencies.

  • Manual Testing & Quality focus
  • Automation (using robo framework is a plus)
  • Initiate and contribute towards testing improvements and initiatives
  • Responsible for product deliverables with quality
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Architect, Development and Test teams to foster a team environment
  • We are looking for a passionate engineer who can be trusted to deliver high-quality products and can challenge the status quo.
  • We expect the candidate to have a broad interest in the software engineering field and help us to continuously explore new technologies to enhance the product and processes.

Technical skills preferred for a Tester Job Opening at Nokia:

  • Strong Networking knowledge and networking protocols, knowledge of Ethernet, L2/L3, TCP/UDP/TLS. PON or DSL knowledge will be a plus. Netconf/Yang knowledge is not mandatory, but an asset.
  • Experience in test design, testbed preparation/setup, test execution & reporting.
  • Good working knowledge of software testing (functional, regression, and/or non-functional testing).
  • Linux OS and its deployment in virtual environments. Docker is an asset for host simulation.
  • Automation with Robot/Python/Java is desirable along with good debugging skills.
  • Any hands-on experience in any of the traffic generators will be a plus.
  • Mercurial (or git) SCM & build development.
  • Familiar with CI/CD (continuous integration/delivery), Release automation (Jenkins, etc), system administration, system configuration, and system debugging experience
