Skills: Selenium, Jmeter , SQL Queries

Roles and Responsibilities of a Software Developer QA Trainee:

You will be involved in Quality Assurance of product deliverable’s for key areas within Erwin’s product portfolio.
Understanding requirements/design documents.
Prepare and execute Test Cases and Test Scripts to detect problems and ensure the quality and success of the software
Conduct a variety of quality- control tests and analysis to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
Design and execute Automation Test Scripts
Execute SQL commands to manage and verify data.
Bug Reporting and Defect Management.
Coordinate Test Environment Configurations and Maintenance.

Essential Skills Required for a Software Developer QA Trainee:

Should possess good Communication skills
Should have good technical understanding of manual testing, SQL Queries, process and approaches.
Knowledge Automation Testing (Selenium) or Performance Testing Tool (Jmeter).
You should be self-driven, leverage the available software tools and test suites and apply them where they add value to Quest.
ISTQB certification (Preferable)
He/she must ensure the deliverable’s meet quality requirements as well as, help team in achieving the same.
Knowledge on Databases Concepts. Should be able to write basic queries.
You will work in a fast-paced environment with an experienced and highly technical team of Quest engineers to solve a wide variety of unique and complex problems.

Desired Profile:

UG : B.Tech/B.E.-Any Specialization
PG : M.Tech-Any Specialization

Responsibilities:

Training to be provided on the MSI Platform & AppStudio.
To travel to customer/partner locations (US, Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pac and India) for training as well as liaison with partners and customers as required to discuss technical training requirements.
To work with the Product, Platform, AppStudio and PS teams.
To build Product capabilities, Technical Training Curriculum and Certifications.

Desired Skills and Experience:

3-4 yrs. experience as developer in Oracle PL/SQL.
Proficient in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, data modeling and relational database knowledge, performance tuning and creating queries around the same.
Proficient in HTML, JavaScript and XML.
Knowledge in debugging, client/server architecture is an added advantage.
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) are mandatory.
