Responsibilities for the Intern Technical Engineering Job Opening at Synopsys

Participate in many aspects of building automation scripts & interfaces to enhance ease of use & improve productivity.
Gather automation process requirements and develop automation frameworks around chip design activities.
Analyze the existing automation workflows and programs, and finetune or enhance them to work with new requirements.
Opportunity to collaborate with other technical engineers to gain knowledge and expertise with the automation toolsets.
In your role, you will be supported by mentors and coaches who will encourage you to challenge the norm, investigate ideas outside your role, and develop creative automation frameworks resulting in ground-breaking impact for our users.

Basic Skills Required to be Successful in this Role:

Clear understanding of ASIC design flow
Understanding of Digital design concepts and basic circuits operation
Excellent digital fundamentals on RTL design
Understanding of Synthesis, DFT and Static Timing Analysis
Scripting knowledge of TCL, shell is a plus

Preferred Experience

Prior working knowledge of any of tools Design compiler/Formality, Spyglass, Prime time or DFT Tetramax is a plus.
Has good communication skills (written and verbal English)
Has a willingness to study new things and enhance knowledge
Be self-motivated personality
