Job Location: Hyderabad

Experience: Fresher

Skills:  C, C++, or VBA

Stipend: Upto ₹28K/Month (Expected)

Key Responsibilities of Intern Test Engineer Job Opening at Semtech:

Learn all the key steps of test development for production release of new products, including generating test plan, design test hardware and software, etc.
Work with people from different function groups to solely manage assigned projects, supported by mentorship
Support engineering evaluation / investigation projects
Coordinate engineering teams to solve testing related issues
Perform data collection and analysis to support engineering evaluation / investigation projects including documenting and publishing summary reports in PowerPoint

Qualifications & Experience:

BSEE or MSEE degree
Proficient with analyzing electrical circuits
Basic understanding of semiconductor devices working theory
Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
Experienced in statistical data analysis using Excel
Comfortable working with and learning new bench instruments
Basic programming skills in C, C++, or VBA
Quick learner of process, new technical knowledge and skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Team player with a strong sense of driving to meet project schedule
Proficiency in Microsoft Office™ products – Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Computers Engineering or equivalent

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: Fresher

Skills:  Python/Java/C

Stipend: Upto ₹28K/Month (Expected)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design test plans based on customers’ requirements and the related deployment use cases
Execute tests scenarios and automate the same for multiple product solutions
Identify issues with the product and report through defect tickets. Also publish Test Results and metrics in test management tool
Collaborate with development/field engineers by reproducing the issues in lab and support to bring the issues to logical closure
Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks. Work closely with the team to identify new automation scope/test areas.
Participate in continuous improvement of test strategies/practices based on the root cause analysis/test escape analysis

Qualifications & Experience:

Development experience using Python/Java/C
Has good knowledge of cellular (4G/5G) and datacom technologies (Networking Protocols)
Good understanding on various networking devices/technologies (switch, routers, firewall)
Good oral and written communication skills are must
Passionate about software quality and software testing
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows system
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good Team player

Development background for Software Engineer Job Opening at Semtech:

Strong development background with the development platform (Java2JEE)
Must have strong background using various libraries, framework and patterns in particular technology stack
Strong background in design and implementation of external services integrations (using REST, SOAP)
Experience in e in Apache Kafka or any such queue system is a huge plus.
Experience with full lifecycle software development processes, approaches and methods (SCRUM / AGILE)
Deep expertise in solution (Web application architecture, Web services architecture, Solution cross-cutting concerns (security, monitoring, caching, etc.))

Desired Skills:

Understanding of Virtualization, Containerization and Cloud Technologies
Also has uUnderstanding of various specification in wireless areas like 3GPP
Understanding of tools like Jenkins, Jmeter, GitHub
Also has understanding and configuration of networking devices like routers, switches, firewall and some understanding of security aspects including IPSec
