💼 Backend Developer (SDE -I) – Bengalore ((NEW))

 

Seekho is hiring an Backend Developer (SDE -I) for the Bengalore location. Please read the complete information carefully and apply if you are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Qualification: Bachelor's of Engineering 
  • Experience:  0 - 1 Years
  • Skills: DSA (Data Structures & Algorithms) and OOPs principles

Responsibilities:

1. Feature Development & Ownership

  • Lead and deliver complex backend features end-to-end—from understanding requirements to deployment.
  • Translate business needs into robust, scalable backend solutions.

2. Architecture & System Design

  • Design clean, modular, scalable system components.
  • Refactor and improve critical backend modules to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.

3. Code Quality & Best Practices

  • Establish and promote engineering best practices within the squad.
  • Conduct high-quality code reviews, ensuring maintainable and efficient code.

4. Collaboration & Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with PMs, designers, and frontend teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide technical clarity during planning, assisting in scoping and solutioning.
  • Mentor junior engineers through guidance, pairing, and reviews.

5. Reliability, Performance & Security

  • Diagnose system bottlenecks, fix large-scale issues, and optimize backend performance.
  • Ensure security standards and data integrity across backend workflows.

Required Skills:

  • Strong ability to design scalable, maintainable, and performant backend systems.
  • Deep understanding of DSA (Data Structures & Algorithms) and OOPs principles
  • Strong command over system design, distributed systems, caching strategies, and architectural trade-offs.
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services at scale.
  • Hands-on knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), query optimization, indexing, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and backend infrastructure components is a strong plus.
  • Ability to profile, debug, and optimize backend services for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

  • High ownership and ability to lead projects independently.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills.
