Eligibility Criteria :

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: Fresher (0–1 Years)

Skills:  Python programming, OOP concepts, SDLC & testing methodologies

Salary: ₹4.5 LPA – ₹7.2 LPA (as per Glassdoor)

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing, and executing automation test scripts.
Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand requirements and create test cases.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
Debug test failures, analyse logs, and report defects.
Maintain test automation frameworks.
Write and accomplish basic SQL queries for database validation.
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.

Requirements Skills for the Graduate Engineer Trainee Job Opening at Rockwell

Experience with Python programming (loops, functions, OOP concepts).
Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (manual + automation).
Familiarity with test automation concepts (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, or any automation tool) –.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills :

Exposure to version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of API testing basics (Postman, REST API).
