Skills: cryptographic, linear algebra

Preferred qualifications for Research Intern Security Job Opening at IBM:

  • Basic familiarity with cryptographic and system security concepts and protocols
  • Strong programming skills
  • Strong background in discrete mathematics and linear algebra (optional)

Responsibilities:

  • This internship would provide the candidates with the opportunity to contribute towards cutting-edge research and development efforts in quantum-safe cryptography.
  • During the internship, the candidate will be expected to carry out research and development work contributing towards current projects happening in the lab, under the mentorship of full-time researchers.
  • The overarching goal of the internship will be to provide the candidate with the experience of working in a leading research lab such as IBM IRL, and the internship could lead to prospective full-time offers.
