Job Description for Software Engineer Job Opening at Qatar Airways:

Develop high quality and reliable code with unit test cases, meeting given specifications.
Create Documentation, sequence diagram and other low-level design artefacts.
Perform code analysis, peer reviews, requirements analysis, software review, system risk analysis and software reliability analysis.
Ensures the developed code covers the non-functional requirements including performance, security, auditing and integrity.
Resolve production incidents or defects as needed, and proactively identify potential issues. before they appear in the production environment; contribute to the root cause analysis.
Drive high performance and accountability for own deliverables. Work well within a team and always work for team success by supporting other team members, constructively acting on feedback, and identifying challenging opportunities that enhance career growth.
Contribute in defining secure coding standards, and work in a team to follow best practices to ensure compliance with standards, quality, scalability and security of deliverables.
Tackle challenges and solve complex problems on a daily basis.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ensure the transparency of the work.
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Quality Assurance processes.

Requirements:

Equivalent with minimum 3 years with 2 years of job-related experience.
Ability to take a mock or concept and turn it into a working experience with pixel perfection.
Should have solid working experience in creating web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Strong JavaScript / CSS debugging skills using Dev tools
Experience in using RESTful APIs, Angular framework will be an added advantage.
Hands-on knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG 2.1 AA and AAA and the implementation of accessible UI front end.
Understanding of design tools (Adobe XD) and contact management (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager will be added advantage
Should have the ability to clearly write front-end specifications and document it and effectively communicate across teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills, and adaptability to evolving technology
Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Job Description for Junior Test Engineer Job Opening at Qatar Airways:

Develop & Maintain test cases according to requirements acceptance criteria to ensure no gaps in test coverage
Clearly document defects found during testing in bug tracking system and track it to closure to ensure quality deliverable to end users
Must communicate well, Track testing progress and write accurate test reports in the defines format to ensure organization/Project guidelines are acheived
Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other teams to analyse requirements and resolve software issues
Create test plans for various types of regression, system integration, Load & Performance and UAT tests
Perform smoke testing, functional testing, front end testing, regression testing and also support client acceptance testing
Design and develop automation tests to improve regression test scope of the software release and product
UAT Defect Analysis to triage the occurrence and capture the lesson learnt to mitigate this in the future

Requirements:

Knowledgeable of testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end
Should poses strong problem-solving skills that allow them to test software, identify bugs, and solve errors
working with other groups, should have strong communication skills that allow them to collaborate with others. They communicate problems and coordinate with QA, development, and business groups to ensure products are free of errors
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and preferably having experience in developing automation scripts will be an added advantage
