• Backend Engineer Intern
  • Stipend – INR 35,000 to INR 50,000 per month
• Frontend Engineer Intern
  • Stipend: INR 30,000 – INR 35,000/month

Responsibilities 

• Backend Engineer Intern
  • Work directly with the CTO & Founder to help shape our product and culture.
  • Design, develop, and implement new backend features and services.
  • Integrate our systems with external third-party financial solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
  • Continuously learn and improve your backend development skills.
• Frontend Engineer Intern
  • Front-End Development:
    • Design, develop and build highly scalable and high-performance web applications using ReactJs.
    • Implement designs and wireframes, ensuring pixel-perfect layouts and UI components.
    • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
    • Write sustainable, testable, high-quality, high-performance code.
    • Integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Frameworks and Libraries:
    • Work with modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJs, Vue.js, or Angular to develop scalable, modular front-end components.
    • Assist in refactoring and optimising existing front-end codebases for performance and maintainability.
  • UI/UX Design Collaboration:
    • Work closely with designers to ensure the front-end is visually polished and user-friendly.
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
    • Build beautiful pixel perfect frontends.
    • Optimise web applications for performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
  • Testing and Debugging:
    • Troubleshooting and fixing front-end issues
    • Assist in debugging UI issues across different browsers and platforms.
    • Contribute to writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Version Control and Collaboration:
    • Use Git for version control, collaborating on projects within a team setting.
    • Collaborating with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
    • Partner with members of a cross-functional team and other stakeholders to contribute to setting the direction of our product

Preferred Skills

• Backend Engineer Intern
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js & typescript (must have).
  • Strong enthusiasm for software engineering, specifically backend.
  • A computer science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong English language skills to communicate complex ideas and abstractions to the team effectively.
  • Internship experience building distributed cloud systems using serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
  • Have a proven track record of contributing to backend systems.
• Frontend Engineer Intern
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like ReactJs, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Passion for creating intuitive, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
  • Attention to detail and a desire to learn about web development best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug issues independently.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skills Required for QA Engineer Intern Job Opening at Peakflo:

• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools (e.g. Notion, Jira, TestRail, etc.).
• Knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred).
• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing:
  • Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Document and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Automation Testing:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results to ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.
  • Continuously improve automated testing frameworks and processes.
• Programming and Scripting:
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python/Java/JavaScript to enhance test automation frameworks.
  • Write SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.
  • Develop scripts for test data preparation and test environment setup.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Report daily status to the QA lead and communicate test progress, results, and potential risks to all the stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
