Job Responsibilities Of Associate Software Engineer Job Opening at OpenText

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java/Java EE, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Build and integrate RESTful services and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning meetings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
• Work in an Agile development environment and contribute to continuous improvement practices.

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Java/Java EE.
• Proficiency in UI technologies and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (7/8) or Ext JS.
• Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, DOM, and XPath.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, iBATIS, and JPA.
• Experience with application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic Server).
• Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux and shell scripting.
• Version control using Git or Mercurial; build automation with Maven.
• Exposure to Docker and Ansible.
• Understanding design patterns and database modeling.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional, and collaborative team environment.
• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
