Key Roles & Responsibilities of a Engineer:

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Integration of data storage solutions using MongoDB & MYSQL
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
Analyze requests for enhancements/changes and write amendment/program specifications
Understand the inter-dependencies of the services (application, system and database) and able to pin-point problem areas accurately to improve overall efficiency

Preferred Skills for Assistant Consultant Job Opening at Oodles:

Strong proficiency with JavaScript.
In-depth knowledge of Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they integrate with backend systems.
Good working Knowledge of pixel-perfect conversion of PSD into HTML document with the Responsive view.
Good to have experience in one of the frameworks such as React.Js
Solid knowledge of databases and database design (e.g., SQL and NoSQL databases).
Must have knowledge of Data Structure and Dynamic programming
Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Understanding of version control systems like Git, SVN is a plus.
Good communication & analytical skills
Candidate can work in a team as well as individual.

Linux Systems Engineering, DevOps, IT and/or software engineering work experience

Good understanding of Shell scripting or python scripting.
