Job Description for Trainee Engineer Job Opening at Noventiq

Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
Work on application logic, user interfaces, and databases to build robust and scalable applications.
Support senior engineers in troubleshooting and debugging application issues.
Participate in writing and optimizing code, documentation, and reports.
Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and modules.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth integration of application components.
Test and ensure the reliability of applications across different environments.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Assist with the deployment and monitoring of applications in production.
Learn and adopt industry best practices for software development.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and application development methodologies.

Skills Required to be successful in this role

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with application development principles and basic programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, etc.).
Basic understanding of software engineering concepts such as OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), data structures, and algorithms.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and basic SQL queries.
Exposure to web or mobile application development is a plus.
Experience with version control tools such as Git is desirable.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Desired Skills

Exposure to application frameworks and libraries (e.g., .NET, Spring, Django, React, etc.).
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Understanding of application testing techniques and frameworks.

Responsibilities of Cloud Trainee Engineer Job Openings at Noventiq

Azure Platform Support: Assist in the management, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Azure cloud services.
Ticket Resolution: Respond to and resolve basic support tickets related to Azure resources, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
Cloud Deployment Assistance: Support the deployment and configuration of virtual machines, storage accounts, and other Azure services.
Learning and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to build foundational knowledge of Azure services, tools, and best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior Azure engineers and cloud architects to support complex projects and resolve technical issues.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and work logs in the ticketing system.
Customer Support: Provide high-quality customer service by addressing client queries related to Azure services and infrastructure.

Knowledge and Skills

Basic Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, with a strong interest in Microsoft Azure.
Technical Aptitude: Some experience with IT systems, networks, or cloud platforms is preferred, but not required.
Problem-Solving: Ability to approach technical challenges with logical and effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain technical issues in an understandable way.

Additional Skills

Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, VPN, IP addressing).
Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Networking.
Understanding of IT infrastructure, server management, and virtualization
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a bonus but can be pursued on the job.
