Responsibilities for the QA Trainee Job Opening at NovaStrid:

• Learn and apply QA methodologies and processes under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
• Assist in the creation and execution of test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Report, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Participate in regression, integration, and system testing.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
• Understand project requirements and contribute to test planning and execution.

Requirements qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with any bug-tracking or test management tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic programming concepts is an added advantage

Eligiblity Criteria:

• Graduation Year: Only 2021 to 2024 batch students are eligible to apply.
• Experience Level: This opportunity is strictly for freshers; experienced candidates should not apply.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge in Manual Testing / Automation Testing
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Location: Candidates must reside within 30 km of our Madurai office

Terms and Conditions:

• Training Period: 6 months.
• Stipend: ₹8,000 per month during the training period.
• Employment Confirmation: Based on performance after the training period.
• Employment Bond:
  • A 1-year bond is mandatory of employment from DOJ.
  • If the bond is breached, the candidate is responsible for repayment as per company terms.
• Laptop Requirement: Candidates must have a well-functioning laptop for training.
• Work Location: K. Pudur, Madurai.
• Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days a week).
• Additional Note: The company does not provide food or accommodation.
