Responsibilities for Junior Data Analyst Job Opening at BCG:

Delivering original analysis and insights to case teams, typically owning all or part of an analytics module whilst integrating with a case team.
Establishing credibility by thought partnering with case teams on analytics topics; drawing conclusions on a range of external and internal issues related to your module.
Communicating analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of results (including PPT slides and charts) with consultants; collecting, synthesizing, analyzing case team learning & inputs into new best practices and methodologies
Developing broad expertise in at least one analytics topic or platform
Executing analytical approach and creating defined outcome; contributing to approach selection Communicating with confidence and ease
Clear and confident communicator, able to deliver messages in a concise manner with strong and effective written and verbal communication.
Thinking Analytically
Strong analytics skills with the ability to develop and codify knowledge and provide analytical advice where required.
Technical requirement
Working knowledge of advanced excel and VBA
Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
Alteryx working knowledge
Preferred to have used programming languages and tools (Python or SQL)Understanding of ETL processes#BCGXJOB#LI-ND1

Basic Qualifications Required to be Successful in this Role:

Analytical reasoning, strong problem solving involving mathematical programming and data problems, and attention to detail.
Ability to understand the requirements and proactively propose analytical solutions.

Skills: QA Automation Testing, HTML, CSS

Basic Qualifications Required to be Successful in this Role:

Preference for someone working on a BS/BA in Computer Science or Business Information Technology
Preferably a rising Junior or Senior with strong academic performance
Willingness & readiness to upskill quickly on Selenium with Java, Testng; Cucumber Framework, Git, Maven Tool will be a plus.
Prior work/internship experience
No website development experience is required, but design and/or blog creation experience along with understanding of digital marketing is a plus.
Experience with Sitecore CMS tools a plus
Proficient in MS Office tools
Able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment in line with BCG’s Code of Conduct

Responsibilities for Intern Job Opening at BCG:

Support web content creation and quality assurance testing of internal-facing informational webpages using BCG’s content management system, Sitecore
Partner with internal BCG teams to understand needs, answer questions, offer training, think of creative solutions and listen to feedback throughout the site building process
Work independently to upload content, leverage templates, review design and development of new webpages
Identify bugs / technical issues found in the system and log them into the project’s defect management system.
Support Dev and QA team in Automation Testing.
Manage and work on multiple on-going projects and effectively track time devoted to specific tasks for future analysis.
Support additional requests from product manager and lead analysts for analysis or documenting process steps to serve as inputs for future development of the platform

Understand functional and non-functional requirements and the business context for which the application is being developed. Participate in meetings and calls pertaining to requirements and clarification of requirement issues.
Design and document test scenarios, and manual test cases for the functional and non-functional requirements.
Execute the test cases and prepare test logs.
Report any defect found during the execution using the project’s defined defect management tool.
Troubleshoot bugs to identify the ultimate root cause and then document findings in bug-tracking software. Also clearly understand the impacted areas due to resolution suggested/provided by the development team.
Work with the team to ensure bugs found in testing are resolved and retested. Update the status accordingly.
Participates fully in all scrum ceremonies, including sprint reviews
Help scrum team ensure the sprint goal is met, including activities outside the QA function when requested
Support application deployment as necessary
