Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Job Location: Pune

Experience: 1-3 Years

Skills: Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Rest , Spring Data, Spring Boot

Salary: Upto ₹9 LPA (Expected)

Responsibilities:

Participates in the development of software platforms and mobile apps. Writing code to implement solutions from the ground up, building interfaces between internal and external systems.
Implement and maintain APIs that allow data to flow through a complex network of embedded, cloud-based, and mobile devices and allows for the organization to integrate with service providers and fleet customers. This includes RESTful API implementation.

Skills Required for Software Engineer Job Opening at Michelin:

1-3 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications using Spring Boot.
Minimum 1 + years hands on experience on development.
Working knowledge on Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Rest , Spring Data, Spring Boot,
Must have knowledge of Microservices API development
Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience working with JSON, XML, Junit
Familiar with different IDE s like Eclipse, Intllij etc.
Familiar with build tools like Maven/ Gradle.
Experience working with web servers like Tomcat,and application servers like Websphere, Weblogic etc
Strong grasp of Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Familiarity with Git version control and modern development workflows.
Sound understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Exceptional problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical discussions

Required Technical skills:

Hands-on software development experience in Spring MVC JAVA
Must have knowledge of Microservices API development

Skills Required for Database Developer Job Opening at Michelin:

Good communication (verbal and written)
Ability to provide technical solutions.
Experienced in working with enterprise customers.
Understanding and knowledge of working of PAAS component in Azure.
Must have experience in PostgreSQL database architecture, logical and physical design, automation, documentation, installs, shell scripting, PL/ SQL programming, query tuning, system tuning, resource contention analysis, backup and recovery, standby, replication, etc.
Strong understanding of working and management of database in Azure.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developer SQL code review to ensure queries are optimized and tuned to perform efficiently prior to production release.
Develop Stored Procedures and Database Triggers in support of application development.
Participate in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances, and the migration from one environment to another.
Responsible for Query tuning and preventative maintenance.
Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.
Estimate PostgreSQL database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
Lead efforts to develop and improve procedures for automated monitoring and proactive intervention, reducing any need downtime.
Participate in application development projects and be responsible for the database architecture and design.
Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases.
Is also responsible for regular maintenance on databases (e.g., Vacuum, Reindexing, Archiving).
Responsible for pro-active remediation of database operational problems.
Support complex web-based applications.
Write performant SQL’s as per the requirement.
Knowledge and proven work experience on managing PostgreSQL instance on Azure cloud.
Participate in support rotation 8 AM to 10 PM IST.
