Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: Student

Duration: 2 Months

Skills: Python, ML, SQL

Stipend : Upto ₹15,000 to ₹35,000 per month ( As per Glassdoor)

Responsibilities of Data Science – Intern Job Opening at Weir:

Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights.
Targeted capability testing of Data Platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
Creating and developing evaluation framework for Agentic Systems.
Assist in data developing frameworks for creation of reusable patterns in Generative AI product development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
Document findings, methodologies, and code for reproducibility.
Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
Availability for a full-time internship for 2 months
Basic understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts.
Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
Experience with SQL is a plus.
Exposure of Generative AI is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
