• Should be well versed in development platforms and best practices.
• Should have good knowledge in unit testing frameworks.

Required Skills:

• Build new Web-based systems with C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC Framework

• Good to have exposure to Cloud computing – MS Azure, SQL Azure, App Fabric
• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
• Strong experience designing and working with scalable architectures
• The ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary

Basic Qualifications Required to be successful in this role :

• Undergraduate degree in any computer-related field (preferably in engineering);
• Post-graduation (project management and/or business-related) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Any relevant certification focused on continual improvement and growth will be recognized.
• Certifications in Microsoft certifications on .Net or any relevant technology are a plus.
• Fresher or up to 6 months in software development
• Demonstrable skill in developing modules or sections of applications using ASP.NET, C# and MS SQL
• Prior experience with start-ups and fast-growing companies is preferred

Job Description Software Engineer Job Opening at Insight:

• Understand the requirement (high level and detail) based on which you are to develop your application.
• Develop and manage code blocks and modules assigned to you
• Work closely with your team and team leader to ensure the quality of every deliverable assigned to you.
• Gain an understanding of the application (functionally and architecturally) you are working in and the domain it
  is developed for.
• Thoroughly unit test the code set assigned to you, so that it does not require subsequent quality checks when it
  is being integrated with the rest of the application.
• Upskill in areas such as estimation, documentation, and communication.
• Adhere to the methods and processes used as a company standard.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on software development exposure and/or experience especially on Microsoft technology stack.
• Some skill in coding using the following or equivalent technology stack:
• ASP, .NET & C#
• SQL Server/RDBMS
• Exposure or experience in any of the following skills is a plus.
• ASP.NET MVC ,LINQ, jQuery, JavaScript, JS Framework (React/Node/AngularJS), HTML5, Bootstrap, iOS, Android, Power BI (BI tools/software)
• Exposure or experience in Testing / QA (including unit testing) activities including development of testing automation scripts
