Education: Graduate degree in Engineering or related fields

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: Freshers

Skills: MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, and Next.js

Stipend: Upto ₹2.5 LPA to ₹4 LPA  (As per Glassdoor)

Job Responsibilities of Software Engineer Intern Job Opening at Teal:

Learn and move fast (you’ll have lots of help but we expect initiative)
Contribute ideas to improve user experience and product’s performance.
Work across the stack: backend, frontend, applied AI (our stack includes MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, and Next.js).
Write maintainable, flexible code with empathy for your fellow developers.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Have a strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals
Are generally thoughtful and care about doing things well
Can gather context on problems quickly
Think in terms of both user experience and code
Are comfortable with ambiguity and can figure things out
Love building things — websites, tools, automations, side projects
Bonus: Experience with JS/TS, React, and building servers.

Responsibilities for Frontend Engineer Job Opening at Inkle:

You will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications
Define system design and functionality to be implemented and design for scale and readability.
Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
Working with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems
To emulate the customer intent and solve their pain points by developing features to enhance the user experience.
Collaborate with back-end engineers and web designers to improve usability.
Providing website maintenance and enhancements.
Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
Review and optimize the app usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.

Requirements:

1+ years of proven experience as a front-end engineer. Experience working in a high-growth startup is an added bonus
Proficient in using Javascript, CSS, HTML, CSS, JS, React, Redux, Good understanding of API workflow and integrations.
Proactively reach out to reporting managers and take initiative with implementing new features and solving issues.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and a keen eye for details
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and rapid changes in design/technology.
Efficient communication and leadership skills and willingness to work in a team. Must be able to inspire and mentor other developers in the team.
Above all willingness to continuously learn and keep improving.

Own impactful infrastructure problems from inception and architecture to production launch
