Job Responsibilities For B.Tech Summer Internship Job Opening at GE Aerospace:

• Simulation and Analysis: Assist in the simulation and analysis of electrical and electromechanical systems for aircraft power distribution and propulsion systems.
• Power Converter Design: Support the design and development of power converters for hybrid electric and more electric applications.
• Embedded Controls: Help in the development and testing of embedded controls using FPGA and microcontrollers.
• High-Frequency Resonant Converters: Participate in the innovation and development of high-frequency resonant converters for aerospace applications.
• Research and Presentation: Contribute to research activities and assist in writing and presenting findings to internal teams and at technical meetings.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.
• Project Support: Assist in driving technical projects to success, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

Required capabilities, qualifications and skills:

• Currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Should obtain NOC from college to pursue summer internship
• Basic understanding of power electronics and control
• Knowledge of PCB design, hardware design, and building power circuits and systems.
• Exposure to circuit and system simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, PLECS.
• Basic programming skills, preferably in FPGA/Microcontroller environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic python programming skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Curiousity to learn
