Basic Qualifications Required to be successful in this role :

• Expertise in Core Java and advanced concepts like XML parsers (DOM/SAX), JNI, JDBC.
• Should be comfortable in writing SQL queries.
• Have fair amount of knowledge in Shared memory, multi-processing, and multi-threading concepts
• Knowledge of Spring, hibernate/Mybatis
• Working knowledge of REST Web Services with JSON/XML
• Knowledge of any webserver like Tomcat, Jboss EAP etc.
• Problem solving and debugging skills
• Proactive in solving the issue
• Motivated  in learning new skills
• Process Adherence
• Good communication (Email/Oral) skill strong analytical and logical skills

Job Description for Trainee Software Engineer Job Opening at Pelican :

• Module programming, unit testing and Integration testing
• Quality management of own work
• Review of code, documents and test case

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in Messaging middleware using JMS or MQ API will be preferred
• Good Presentation skills
• UML, Design Pattern.
