💼 Co-op Software Engineer (Intern) Fullstack – Bangalore ((NEW))

 

Dialpad is hiring an Co-op Software Engineer, Fullstack Intern for the Bangalore location. Please read the complete information carefully and apply if you are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Qualification: Currently enrolled in a university program (3rd year+) or recently graduated in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience:  Minimum of 8 months

  • Skills: JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop easy-to-use, scalable, robust, high-volume interactive web applications.
  • Build dynamic web UI using Vue and other JavaScript libraries.
  • Work with real-time communication mechanisms such as WebRTC and WebSockets.
  • Launch new code weekly with our fast release cycles.
  • Improve features to handle the rapid increase in the user base.
  • Interface with designers, product managers, and other engineers (our policy: with fewer organized meetings, engineers have more time to code).

Required Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program (3rd year+) or recently graduated in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum of 8 months of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
  • Previous experience with JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Skilled in writing clean, reusable code using Object-Oriented Design principles.
  • Experience building dynamic/single-page applications using JavaScript.
  • Bonus Points:
    • Familiarity with Vue or Backbone.js would be a plus.
    • Familiarity with public cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, etc.
    • Familiarity with version control tools like Git for collaborative projects.

Stipend: ₹9LPA—₹15LPA (Glassdoor)

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using best practices along with unit tests.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Ensure that features are shipped on time and with the highest quality.
  • Take up on-call activities to support and resolve the issues coming from the QA and the Customers
  • Be responsible for deploying the new releases on a weekly release cadence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and use common components and practices across Dialpad products
  • Mentor junior engineers and help them grow their skills and expertise.
