đź’Ľ SW Test Development Engineer 1 – Bangalore ((NEW))

 

Dexcom is hiring an SW Test Development Engineer 1 (Manual) for the Bangalore location. Please read the complete information carefully and apply if you are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline
  • Experience:  0 - 2 year

  • Skills: Good understanding of programming languages and basic concepts of Object-Oriented Programming.

Responsibilities:

  • You execute existing test cases and develop/modify test interfaces for new or modified firmware features to validate next-generation CGM transmitters.
  • You create test plans, test reports, traceability matrices, and other required documentation for test projects in an FDA-regulated quality environment.
  • You proactively identify and mitigate risks and resolve roadblocks.
  • You understand and apply principles of low-power systems design and implementation.
  • You design, implement, and test new products, as well as improve existing products.
  • You identify and implement engineering and quality process improvements.
  • You work with analog and digital hardware interfaces and software operating systems.
  • You perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you successful:

  • You have a good understanding of programming languages and basic concepts of Object-Oriented Programming.
  • You can read and interpret code to understand the logic.
  • You understand automated test development and automated testing frameworks.
  • You can perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine the breakdown source.
  • You manually test hardware, following a test plan.
  • You check that the firmware works as per requirements. You document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.
  • You have experience in embedded software and mobile application testing.
  • You have knowledge of embedded firmware testing.
  • You have a basic understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) specifications.
  • You follow V&V processes and support audit and compliance needs.

Stipend: ₹6LPA—₹10LPA (Glassdoor)

Job Responsibilities of SW Test Development Engineer 1 Job Opening at Dexcom:

  • You will participate in software requirements and design reviews.
  • You will create software verification plans, test protocols, and conduct software risk analyses for commercial products.
  • You will validate the configuration, functionality, and user interface of software and tools.
  • You will design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for software testing.
  • You will execute software verification plans and test protocols.
  • You will record and track issues in the bug tracking system.
  • You will analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure thorough investigation of root causes.
  • You will write test reports documenting detailed validation results and report test progress to management.
  • You will follow internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures in compliance with medical and security regulations.
  • You will modify test protocols based on changes in requirements and execute regression validation accordingly.
  • You will work collaboratively with other engineers as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

 

  • You have working knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android application.
  • You have solid Experience in developing automated test scripts using Java and Python. Document the test plan, maintain test trace and traceability, and generate test reports.
  • You have a solid experience in troubleshooting the mobile application using test tools and collect the evidence and bug reports from device.
  • You have experience in terminal commands for Linux/Mac and ADB.
  • You have experience in mobile automation testing tool such as Android studio, ADB, Xcode, Appium, Appium GUI server and Appium inspector.
  • You have experience in GIT, GIT commands and Jfrog artifactory & knowledge of maintaining the repositories.
  • You have experience in Defect life cycle and defect tracking tools (Ex, Jira).
  • You have experience in Manual testing and test methodologies such as System testing, Regression, Black box, Performance (or) stress testing and White box testing.
