Job Location: Pune

Experience: 0-4 years

Skills: SDLC, Agile Scrum, Embedded C, RTOS, Electronics.

Salary: upto ₹8L to ₹10L (as per glassdoors)

Job Responsibilities of a Software Engineer Job Opening at Danfoss:

Understand and analyze software requirements for embedded systems.
Create low-level design documents using UML based on system requirements.
Develop embedded software in line with design specifications.
Perform software integration of various embedded modules.
Conduct unit testing and system-level testing to validate functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and performance.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent).
0–4 years of experience in embedded system software design, development, and testing.
Excellent communication skills, spoken and written English
Strong proficiency in Embedded C, RTOS, and electronics fundamentals.
Knowledge of microcontrollers (RISC, CISC) and CAN communication protocols (UDS, KWP2000, CANopen, J1939).
Knowledge of MISRA standards (2000/2012), software development life cycles (SDLC, Agile Scrum), and software testing processes.
Familiarity with static analysis tools (LDRA, QAC, VectorCAST) and change/version control tools (JIRA, VSTS, SVN, Git, ClearCase).
Experience with traceability management tools (e.g., Reqtify) and design methodologies such as UML.
Preferred: Exposure to functional safety lifecycle and management principles in embedded software development.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize expertise in Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and VBA to develop automation solutions.
Design and create custom business applications using Power Apps to address departmental needs and user requirements, ensuring user-friendly interfaces.
Develop automated workflows with Power Automate for task automation, notifications, approvals, data synchronization, and system integration.
Generate data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI, integrating with Microsoft 365 apps and external data sources.
Administer Microsoft SharePoint, managing access restrictions and serving as an individual contributor.
Familiarity with Dataverse and the ability to build custom components in Power Apps is advantageous.
Handle data connections, importation, transformation, and business intelligence analytics.
