Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, 
or a related field

Job Location: Mumbai

Experience: 1-2 years

Skills:  SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies

Salary: Upto ₹8 LPA (Expected)

Basic Qualifications Required to be successful in this role

1.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with manual testing and developing automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
Experience with API Testing using Postman or Swagger.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Good understanding of cross-browser and mobile testing (iOS and Android).
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
Knowledge of database testing and SQL for validating backend data.
Familiarity with performance testing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities For Junior QA Engineer Job Opening at Winvesta:

Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Perform different types of testing including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Sanity Testing.
Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases and automation scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
Conduct API Testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
Report and track bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar defect tracking systems.
Participate in Agile development processes, attending daily stand-ups and contributing to sprint planning.
Collaborate with the development team to address issues, retest resolved bugs, and ensure defects are effectively resolved.
Execute tests across multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android).
Create detailed bug reports with severity and priority classifications and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Maintain well-documented test cases, procedures, and results to support ongoing quality assurance efforts.
Work with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and client teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
