Eligibility Criteria :

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced degree in quantitative analysis is preferred.

Job Location: Pune & Chennai

Experience: 0-2 years

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal and external datasets, client reference data, and provide analysis for developing statistical, financial, and/or econometric models to analyze asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure, or other complex concepts.
• Provide analytical support and prepare drafts of standard and ad hoc reports for the assigned area.
• Support basic statistical and quantitative analyses with general guidance.
• Perform or oversee data management activities in support of more senior quantitative colleagues.
• Run models, identify exceptions, and take corrective actions when needed.
• Build knowledge of technology tools used to conduct analyses.
• Apply techniques like querying and macro development to extract data for populating models.
• Learn about processes and products to understand which analyses, methodologies, and approaches best support performance, risk, or valuation assessments.
• Interpret findings and prepare initial drafts of standard reports.

Skills & Qualifications required for Associate, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis I Job Opening at BNY Mellon:

• 0-2 years of experience preferred, with exposure to quantitative finance and technology being an advantage.

• Ability to interpret and draft reports based on data analysis.
• Knowledge of querying, macro development, and extracting data for model population.
