Responsibilities of SDE I

Assist in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.
Collaborate with developers to automate code testing, deployment, and release processes, ensuring streamlined workflows and faster release cycles.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of applications.
Monitor and maintain logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions to identify performance bottlenecks and proactively resolve potential issues.
Write and maintain scripts for automating tasks (using tools like Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
Participate in incident management and troubleshooting issues related to system performance, scalability, and availability.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and standardize DevOps procedures.
Contribute to building a culture of automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.

Qualifications Required for SDE I Job Opening at Blitz

1+ years of full-time or internship experience.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell.
Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
Basic understanding of networking, databases, and system security.
Interest in automation, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Zeal to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Knowledge of Kubernetes or container orchestration tools.
Prior experience with DevOps projects or internships.
