Job Description for Software Engineer Job Openings at Blackhawk:

Deliver high performance software solutions using software architecture patterns and best practices and aspect-oriented programming
Work hand-in-hand with architects to build the right solution the first time
Work closely with product teams to ensure solutions achieve the business vision and are delivered to market on schedule
Work closely with operations and support staff to ensure successful production delivery and hand-off post-release
Contribute to the execution of performance analysis and capacity planning activities

Knowledge and Attributes:

Java expert and practical experience with JDK 1.8 or above
Spring and similar frameworks and writing multithreaded applications
RESTful architecture and REST Web Services implementation
Database design with MySQL or Oracle and with good exposure to SQL
Strong OO Design and development skills
Creative problem solver and excellent communicator
Finance or payment industry experience a plus
Knowledge/proficiency in cloud

Required Experience:

Master/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
0+ years of software development experience with core Java and J2EE

Responsibilities of SDET I Job Openings at Blackhawk

Automate test plans for APIs, User Interface and other software components in Blackhawk’s technology stack
Expertise in API testing and experience in working with API based applications
Expertise and experience in designing Automation Frameworks from scratch
Strong in Web Services Automation
Should be a good coach for the team and has excellent communication skills
Technical expertise in building effective testing frameworks, that are highly scalable and reusable.
Proficient in front-end, backend, system testing.
Proven experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, Postman, RestAssured, Selenium and Jmeter
Experienced with object oriented programming languages such as Java and scripting using Python, Shell etc.,
Experience with scalability and performance testing.
Experience integrating the automation suite with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.

Knowledge and Skills

1-2 years of experience with Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
Expert coding and design skills (strong Computer Science background and experience in in Java / Python)
Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Quality methodologies.
Good to have experience working with agile/scrum-based teams.
Good to have experience testing large scale complex products with software and infrastructure components.
You build tools for yourself and others to increase efficiency and to make hard or repetitive tasks easy and quick.
Strong communication skills
Knowledgeable about collecting metrics, measuring systems and interpreting data to make decisions.
Organized, focused on building, improving, resolving and delivering. Good communicator in and across teams, taking the lead.
